My music collection was a mess. Many of my tunes had the wrong ID3 tags and they were stored in unsuitable locations.
To be honest, I was very surprised by the amount of useful tools this application had to offer, from an audio converter and analyzer to a disc burner and playlist creator, proving that Media Jukebox is an excellent music managing solution. Plus, the complex equalizer and volume levelling settings helped me get a much more pleasant audio playing experience.
But the thing that I like the most was the program's capability to give me direct access to webpages related to the playing tune. I could check for tune information in Wikipedia, related videos from YouTube and images with the artists, all these right from the interface of Media Jukebox. Of course, you will need a good Internet connection in order to complete these tasks.
There was only one thing that bothered me about using this tool: it took quite a while for the program to load all multimedia files from the connected USB drives.
As for the rest, the application did a great job and allowed me to play and organize my favorite tunes in the simplest manner possible. In addition, you will never have to pay to use it. Therefore, I see no reason why you shouldn't give Media Jukebox a try.
Pros
- User-friendly interface
- Gives you access to a wide range of utilities
- Supports dozens of audio formats
- Supports most popular drives and media devices (USB sticks, iPod, phones, etc.)
Cons
- It might take a while for the program to load all multimedia files from connected USB drives
This 15-year-old software beats the hell out of every music player there even today!
Tried others, but I found MJ14 to be the best. I have a large library 500Gb and MJ14 did great finding it all and organizing it.
The best software I have ever used.
Shakeeb Vakkom, Would you happen to have a copy of J River Media Jukebox v12.0.534 in your archives?
